Q: How do I order on-line?

1. Choose the product you wish to purchase. Add it to your shopping bag using the “Add to Cart” button.
2. After you finish shopping, click on the “Check Out Now” button on the top right side of your screen to view your cart and checkout. After doing this, your order summary will appear.
3. Once you have reviewed your order and determined that it is complete and correct, click the “Checkout” button.
4. You will then be asked for your billing and shipping information. It is not necessary to create a password. However,creating a password will facilitate your next order.
5. Next, click on the “Continue to Shipping Options” button. Choose your shipping option.
6. You will then need to provide your credit card information. After supplying your credit card information, click the “Process My Order” button.
7. Upon clicking the “Checkout” button, your order is complete and will be sent to us. You will then be given an order id. Please write this number down in case you need it for future reference.

Q: Can I view my shopping cart and then continue to shop?
Yes, click on “Check Out Now” button on the top right side of your screen to view your cart. After viewing your cart, click the “Continue Shopping” button to continue shopping.

Q: What is the minimum order for shopping on-line?
The minimum order is $10.00 before shipping charges.

Q: How long does it take an order to ship?
In stock items usually ship within 1-2 business days and custom items can take up to 4 or 5 days to ship. However, during busy times it can take up to 7-10 business days for your order to ship.

Q: How do you ship your chocolate during warm weather?
Due to chocolate’s sensitivity to heat, from May through September some orders will require 2nd day air shipping to ensure that the product arrives at its destination in perfect condition. Products sensitive to heat are noted with an asterisk (*) next to the product name. Besides shipping 2nd day air, we also use insulated boxes and cold packs on necessary items.

Q: What is the shelf life of the product?
Pasta: When kept cool and dry atmosphere, pasta can last almost indefinitely. However, we recommend you use the product within one year.
Sauces: One year. The sauces containing nuts have the shortest shelf life. Sauces must be refrigerated after they are opened.
Cookies: 4-6 Months
Chocolate Confections: Stored properly, our chocolate confections have a shelf life of one year.

Q: How should chocolate be stored?
Chocolates must be stored in a cool (less than 72° F) dry place away from direct sunlight.

Q: Is your fruit and grain sweetened dessert topping suitable for diabetics?
This topping is sweetened with grape juice concentrate and brown rice syrup that is metabolized more slowly than a refined sugar.  This product is very popular with most diabetics and health food enthusiasts but it is not truly sugar-free.  We use no artificial sweeteners but instead the all-natural sweetener that metabolizes as a complex carbohydrate.

Q: What is Chocolate Pasta?
It is real pasta made from egg whites, flour and cocoa.  It is not pieces of chocolate that are merely shaped like pasta.

Q: How do you cook Chocolate Pasta?  Will it melt when you cook it?
Chocolate Pasta is boiled like regular pasta.  No, it will not melt when it is cooked because the pasta is flavored with cocoa; it is not made of chocolate.

• 2nd Day Air (premium) Shipping: For 2nd day air, please select Premium Shipping under the shipping options. The shipping rates are detailed in the table below (Column 3).
• Overnight delivery:  Please select Premium Shipping under the shipping options and then in the special instructions, specify “overnight delivery.”  The appropriate shipping charges (column 4 of the table below) will be charged to your credit card when your product ships from our warehouse.

• In order for us to service you better, please provide us with a daytime telephone number.
• If second day or overnight delivery is selected, we will make every effort to ship your order in the time requested; however, orders are subject to availability and standard lead times.  We will contact you if we cannot ship your order within the time specified.

• Chocolate’s sensitivity to heat requires special shipping during warm weather months and to warm weather destinations.
• Products sensitive to heat are marked with an asterisk after the product name.
• From May to September, heat sensitive products will be shipped Two-day air using insulated boxes and cold packs. Premium shipping must be selected as the shipping option.
• However, it is sometimes possible to ship by Fedex Ground even during warm weather months.  When possible, we will ship Fedex Ground unless 2nd day air is specified in the special instructions during checkout.  If no time constraints are specified in the special instructions, we will choose the least expensive shipping option that will allow your product to arrive at its destination is perfect condition.
